    Supplemental Security Income (SSI) is a federal income assistance program administered by the Social Security Administration (SSA). The program provides monthly financial assistance to individuals who are aged, blind, or disabled and who have limited income and resources.

  • Statewide Hearing Aid Assistance and Reuse Program (SHARP)

    The Statewide Hearing Aid Assistance and Reuse Program (SHARP) is operated through the Kentucky Assistive Technology Service (KATS) Network to improve access to hearing aid support services for Kentuckians with hearing loss.

  • Special Education Programs – Local Education Agency (LEA)

    Under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), public school systems are required to provide a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) to eligible students with disabilities. This includes consideration of assistive technology (AT) devices and services when necessary for a student to access, participate in, and benefit from their educational program.
