Vision

  • South Central KY Council for the Blind Dr. Ronald E. Milliman Scholarship

    The South Central Kentucky Council of the Blind (SCKCB) offers the Dr. Ronald E. Milliman scholarship for visually impaired students in the 10-county area of the Barren River Development District. The following counties comprise the Barren River Area Development District: Allen, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Hart, Logan, , Metcalfe, Monroe, Simpson, Warren.

  • The Kentucky Lions Eye Foundation (KLEF)

    KLEF is a charitable non-profit organization whose mission is to provide vision services through education, detection, prevention, treatment and empowerment. Through collaborative partnerships, they enable greater independence and increased quality of life for all Kentuckians while focusing on children and adults in financial need.

  • George Weeks Foundation

    George Weeks created a perpetual charitable Trust Foundation under his will in the 1930s, which provides assistance to persons who are blind or who have visual impairments and who live in Bourbon and Fayette Counties. This assistance can include the purchase of assistive devices.
