  • Lexington Lions Club Hearing Screening and Assistance

    The Lexington Lions Club provides hundreds of free hearing screenings to adults and children each year. The Lexington Lions Club can provide financial assistance for hearing aids, if you meet the requirements. In the last two fiscal years to the present time, the Lexington Lions Club has provided hearing aids to eligible individuals. The club funds a special retreat each year for deaf individuals. Summer camps for deaf children are also funded.

  • Civitan Club

    To build good citizenship by providing a volunteer organization of clubs dedicated to serving individual and community needs with an emphasis on helping people with developmental disabilities.   • The Hearing & Speech Center

    The Hearing & Speech Center (HSC) is a private, nonprofit agency with over 60 years of experience working with children with hearing loss and/or speech/language impairments. The Center began in 1960 as a preschool for children with hearing loss after a group of parents approached the founders, Jimmy and Edie Frankel, with a request to create an educational alternative to the state residential school for the deaf. The Family Hearing Center at The Hearing & Speech Center (HSC) provides comprehensive hearing healthcare to clients of all ages.
