From: Chase Forrester Thanks to the historic passage of the Help America Vote Act (HAVA), individuals with all types of disabilities will be able to vote on an accessible voting machine. Every voting location in the Commonwealth of Kentucky is required to be accessible and to have an accessible voting machine. There should not be any structural barriers that would prevent a person with a disability from entering the voting location. Please exercise your civil rights and go to the polls and vote on Primary Election Day, May 22nd. If you encounter problems casting your vote: Call your local County Clerk, or The Kentucky Protection & Advocacy Voter Hotline from 6 am to 6 pm (EST) on Primary Election Day to advise voters with disabilities. The Hotline Number is 1-800-372-2988. For more information about Protection & Advocacy in Kentucky, visit the Protection & Advocacy Website To learn more about the accessible voting machine chosen by your county, select your county below to be forwarded to a site with more information. |
