The Kenton County Public Schools have included information technology accessibility standards in their Instructional Technology Implementation Plan for 2004-2007, and are working to implement these standards throughout their district.
Kenton County Schools' vision includes an emphasis on equal access for the learning community. To accomplish equal access, we must consider the diverse needs of all students, teachers and staff, including those with disabilities. Accessibility must be considered when procuring, developing or implementing information technologies, including web content, software, hardware, telecommunications, multimedia, and standalone devices such as information kiosks.
