Event Description: The United 874K Coalition Advocacy Event is going to be different this year! Instead of a one-day event at the Frankfort Convention Center, we will be hosting THREE Advocacy Days at the Capitol. In order to accommodate the coalition members and to focus on different groups of legislators each day, we have divided the state by CMHC/ADD regions (see attached listing of regions with their counties and legislators):

Event Description: Rep. Jimmie Lee, Chair of the Budget Review Subcommittee on Human Resources, invites individuals affected by the budget on Human Resources to come to Frankfort on WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 17TH to give testimony to the Subcommittee. Testimony can be given between 10:00 a.m. and Noon in Room 171. Testimony will also be heard upon adjournment of the House session (perhaps beginning at 4:00 or 4:30 p.m.) and continuing through the evening in Room 131 of the Capitol Annex.
The United 874K Coalition will be hosting the second of its three Advocacy Days at the Capitol on that same date - Wednesday, February 17th. All are invited to come to the Rotunda at 1:00 p.m. to hear Governor Beshear and legislators from the central regions of the state address the needs for services and supports for the 874,000+ Kentuckians who have a disability.
