Description: We would like you to come and see what community and educational services are offered for transitioning from high school to adult life. We will have a variety of agencies that provide services to fit any special needs that your students have. We have also invited colleges and technical schools who make special accommodations that help students with special learning needs. Each agency will be prepared to answer questions, hand out materials about their programs, and give a small presentation about their services.
A successful transition is necessary in this day and age, and we would like for you to have the information available as you assist parents and students in planning for this very important step. Preparing students for life is what education is all about. Check with your administrator to see if flexible professional development credit will be available for you. We will provide documentation of your attendance.
