FRANKFORT KY, JULY 1, 2009: Kentucky P&A will be holding a public forum on July 22, 2009 at 3:00 PM. in the Capital Plaza Hotel, 405 Wilkinson Blvd in Frankfort. P&A represents people with disabilities and wants to find out which mental health issues the public thinks are important to address. Comments about the kind of job P&A is doing are also welcome. The Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS) within the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), US Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) will be visiting and listening to the public’s concerns, too.
P&A will start by talking about its current priorities and about how it makes decisions about them. Then the floor will be opened for discussion. Comments will be limited to 3 minutes until everyone has had a chance to speak. Speakers should bring a written copy of their comments, too. P&A welcomes comments that express opinions about the PAIMI Program in Kentucky.
