Returning visitors will notice some dramatic changes. We have revised the design and layout of the KATS Network web-site to make it more accessible and easier to navigate. People access websites with a variety of computer technologies, and with an even greater variety of physical and mental capabilities. People are using a growing number of different computer technologies - Personal Digital Assistants (PDA's), Blackberries, cell phones, text-only devices and assistive technology devices - to access the abundance of information available on the internet. People accessing our website determine the technology they will use. For our website to be accessible, we must ensure that the information on our website can be conveyed effectively with the technology that people use to access our website.
Building upon the initial redesign efforts started in May, 2007, The new design was created with certain principles in mind:
