Hearing Loss Association of Kentuckiana will host a panel of local cell phone dealers who will discuss cell phones and hearing loss issues at its June 10 meeting. Each vendor will have a period of time to discuss and demonstrate his/her products and how they can assist people with hearing loss to more effectively utilize cell phones. Many people who wear hearing aids or who have a hearing loss find it difficult to use cell phones. This will be their opportunity to identify phones and assistive products that will enhance cell phone use for the hearing impaired. Representatives from Sprint, AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and Cricket have been invited.
The meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 10, at St Leonard's Elementary School Library, 440 Zorn Ave., Louisville, KY (Just South of the VA and North of Brownsboro Road).
